It's Christmas Time and don't forget about New Years

Man... I can't believe that another Christmas has come and gone. What I also can't believe is that this was my last Christmas on active duty. It's going to be extremely strange for me if I get a job where I'm guaranteed not to work on Christmas or New Years or any other holiday for that matter because I've been having to pick and choose which holiday I want off for the past 17 years out of a total 20 year career. It's going to be just as weird if I get a job that doesn't involve shift working because I've been doing that for the past 17 years straight for the most part with a few breaks in-between.

2010 is going to be a very odd New Year for me. Fresh off of a military retirement and all. I KNOW my wife is going to have to dress me because I'm so used to someone else telling me what I'm supposed to wear to work. She's got more fashion sense than I do at any rate. While this transition will be a major change in my life, I think I'm ready to move on. It's been a great ride, I'll say that.

What is it with some of you?????

Why do some of you take advantage of others? What's your problem? Why do you treat the hard worker at work like crap?!?!?!? My poor wife has been taking crap for the past 12 years (only one job that lasted 1 year where they treated her good) from people because she has an outstanding work ethic unlike more and more Americans who would rather sit on their butts and collect a paycheck. You people who would rather do nothing at work are (in my mind) just as worthless as those who CAN work, but don't. You know.... the ones who want King Obama to take care of all their wants and needs. The ones who would rather sit and do nothing all day just because they can. A word to you a$$holes. Karma is a bitch! If your life ends up crappy, it's because you deserve it. You treat other like crap, so you should expect said crap to return.
